"My husband and I have stayed at the Schoolhouse previously and knew it was the perfect place to host our wedding celebrations and it didn't disappoint. We, and our guests were very impressed with the level of service and comfort we received; we were made to feel very welcome and at home. The quality of food and choice with the menu in Oliviers was fantastic and the rooms in the Schoolhouse were very comfortable and well equipped. All the staff in Oliviers and the Schoolhouse were really helpful and offered to assist with anything we needed, which they did even at the last minute! We would like to pass on our thanks for making our day, and weekend, so memorable. We couldn't rate a stay here more highly and we are still receiving compliments on our choice of venue!"

"We have just returned from two wonderful nights at the Schoolhouse hotel. We went for our friends' wedding and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely. We loved the setting and the building, particularly the interesting history associated with it. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. It was overall a very high standard. The staff were also very pleasant to deal with and happy to help with all queries. I would recommend this hotel for a wedding. It was an intimate and romantic setting for such an important event and everything ran smoothly with the help of the hotel staff. Thoroughly recommend staying here. ".

"Fantastic spot. I really like the Schoolhouse: it's a beautiful building, the food is amazing and reasonably priced (considering the quality of ingredients) and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Although you won't get a cheap pint there (approaching a fiver), I do think it's worth it. When it's busy (they often have big groups in) it can be a bit noisy, however when it's a bit more relaxed it's a lovely place for a meal. The food is unpretentious and delicious, and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you go for their sandwich and soup deal for lunch, you won't need dinner - it's enormous!"

My husband and I were very pleased with the Schoolhouse Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful both at the hotel and the pub. The room was very good and clean. We were amazed how quiet it was with the pub so close. We never heard a sound. The only improvement would be a lighted clock in the room which would sit on the nightstand. An alarm clock would even be better.

I love the Schoolhouse hotel as it is small enough to be personal. It is in a beautiful old schoolhouse building. The bar is always busy and full of locals as well as visitors and the food is excellent. The staff couldn't be nicer.

The Staff were very helpful, it was located in a quite area. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent. It was 20 minutes walk to the city centre. Would highly recommend the schoolhouse hotel and I would definitely stay again.
